I am a 4th year Education student completing my studies at Flinders University. As a part of my degree, I have majored in Physical Education and minored in the topics of health and history. My motivation towards education as a career path derives from my own experiences at school, both positive and negative. This has shaped my teaching philosophy in aiming to uphold a positive environment that welcomes students and makes their learning relevant to the world that they are experiencing themselves.
Having grown up in a generation that was exposed to the rapid development ICT technologies, I understand the motives behind why students should always aim to be positive digital citizens when using technology. This blog has been designed to help parents develop their own knowledge and understanding towards their children's ICT learning, and provide information to how they can become involved within the educative process of ethical, safe, and responsible ICT use.
